Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING) in the MANPOWER, ANALYTICS, HUMAN RESOURCES SYSTEMS (MAHRS), DEPARTMENT OF NAVY of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC. Responsibilities You will lead strategy, planning, and policy efforts to align IT investments, systems, data standards, and architectures with mission objectives, cybersecurity requirements, and modernization priorities. You will direct and oversee the work of direct reports. You will be responsible for setting priorities, preparing schedules, and assigning tasks based on employee skills and project demands. You will complete performance management tasks, communicating expectations, holding subordinates accountable, promoting development and training and addressing performance and conduct issues. You will develop and interpret strategies, roadmaps, and implementation approaches that guide long-term capability development, data maturity, and technology adoption. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting design, analysis, and evolution of enterprise architecture for Human Capital/ Human Resources (HC/HR) IT systems Experience delivering oversight, analysis, and recommendations that inform HC/HR IT strategy, policy, budget planning, and governance decisions Experience planning and assigning work to other team members to execute assigned tasks.
