As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Danville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.

Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
