As a Security Officer Patrol in Danville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Mon04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Tue04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
