If you are ready to work hard with a world-class team, we encourage you to apply.Location: Whitesboro, NY (Onsite)Responsibilities: Performs major setups and operates various machines that essentially remove metal by the process of electrolysis. The employee may operate one or more machines as production and the task warrant. The operator will be required to monitor various mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical gages and periodically record observations made. Various operating parameters, such as speeds, feeds, pressures voltages, temperature etc. are established by authorized engineering personnel. Must be able to follow process sheets. Must be able to make minor adjustments and repairs and be responsible for good housekeeping. Must keep good records with regards to routers, run sheets and data recording. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Must follow all safety and health policies including use of all required PPE required for this position.Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to remain focused on tasks throughout scheduled hours Must be a self-motivated and dependable worker 2-3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques in metal fabricating, welding, or machining Working knowledge using thermal spray equipment preferably plasma, HVOF, and flame spray Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Manual dexterity Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and participate with team members Good written and oral communication skills Problem solving skills Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions Ability to understand and follow directions Ability to meet deadlinesWorking Conditions: Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Frequently required to stand; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Subject to noise/ vibration/ moving mechanical parts/ moving vehicles.
