Junior Operational Readiness Specialist

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operational Readiness Specialist I to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

At MANTECH, you'll help protect national security while supporting some of the most critical missions in defense and intelligence. In this role, you will ensure mission readiness through effective personnel coordination, document accountability, resource management, and seamless operational support to Joint Task Force leadership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage alert rosters, manning schedules, and resource allocation to maximize operational readiness.

Oversee document control, accountability, and reporting to support leadership decisions.

Provide scheduling, meeting facilitation, and communications support across the Command.

Coordinate recruiting activities, applicant management, and Command event support.

Support supply logistics, including requirements coordination, ordering, and distribution.

Minimum Qualifications:

4 years of administrative, coordinator, or related experience OR a bachelor's degree in any field

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with DoD organizations.

Additional 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.

Capable of clear communication in person, via phone, email, and virtual platforms.

Occasional movement within the office to access files, equipment, or engage with team members.
