Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Operations Manager to join our food service team at Leisure World in Silver Spring, Maryland. This manager will bring a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in restaurant / retail food service leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a competitive marketplace, consistently drives brand awareness, and cultivates a loyal and growing customer base through exceptional restaurant and catering service delivery.

What You'll Do

Lead and elevate front-of-house restaurant dining operations and catering events, ensuring seamless service and unforgettable guest experiences

Champion hospitality excellence, team development, and operational efficiency

Drive creative marketing campaigns, leveraging social media and digital platforms to build brand presence and customer engagement

Foster local partnerships, host engaging restaurant events, and deepen community involvement to expand reach and retain loyal fans

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
