Within the NCDOT Human Resources Operations section, the HR Systems & Data Analytics Team serves the department by facilitating efficient and effective human resource management systems that assist managers in data analytics and assists the agency with strategic HR services.
This position serves as one of NCDOT HR system administrators and offers technical assistance, trouble shooting and system problem resolution for BEACON/EBS/Workday. Position will provide BEACON/EBS/Workday systems analysis; develop appropriate strategic approaches and oversees and manages all Beacon & Workday security for the department. Position also provides HR consultative role related topics such as Organizational changes, Aggregate service processing, position settings, etc. Position will design and conduct training, analyze and monitor data, and make recommendations for improvements to service delivery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
Management prefers applicants with the following:
Comprehensive working knowledge of North Carolina business systems and SAP
Project management skills
Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting personnel and departmental guidelines and policies in complex, sensitive or new situations
Demonstrated ability to think analytically exercise judgment and discretion in the application, interpretation, and development of personnel policies and procedures
Skill composing written communication for disbursement to working with staff at all levels of the organization
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
