Duties Description Reporting to the IES Finance team, the Finance intern will assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the IES program. The intern will support the processing and tracking of vendor invoices, help ensure timely vendor submissions and resolution of discrepancies and contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reporting and procurement summaries. The position will also assist with maintaining internal financial trackers, supporting reporting on staff augmentation contracts, and managing the IES Finance shared mailbox.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Assist with vendor communication to confirm invoice submissions, address discrepancies, and track payment statuses.- Support the preparation and maintenance of monthly budget reports and internal financial trackers- Aid in the tracking and reporting of expenditures related to staff augmentation procurements- Assist with monitoring and analyzing IES spend to ensure alignment with program budgets- Support the management and triaging of incoming requests and financial inquiries via the IES Finance shared mailbox- Collaborate with members of the IES Finance team to ensure financial documentation and reporting align with program goals and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications - Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States- Must be 18 years of age or older- Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State- Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students) OR currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program- Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.
