We are currently seeking an entry level engineer to join our Urban Mobility & Infrastructure group in our Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul, MN office. As an Entry Level Urban Mobility Civil Design Engineer, you will be exposed to a wide variety of innovative and diverse projects, including the civil design of reconstruction projects balancing pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle priorities; civil improvements for light rail transit (LRT), highway and arterial Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects; and pedestrian / bicycle focused improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist the design team in producing quality products for our clients.

Engage in a positive work environment with an open mind to learning new skills and software associated with typical project requirements.

Be an active participant on a collaborative design team with other groups/disciplines within SRF.

Exhibit quality day-to-day work in line with SRF's quality management plan.

Specific tasks may include design calculations, cost estimates, plan production, and onsite construction field observations and inspection which will require travel.

Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and successful completion of the FE exam or qualification to take the FE exam within six months of starting.

Related internship(s) experience preferred for grad engineers.

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or in Bentley 3D design tools a plus.

Desire to pursue professional engineering licensure.

Interest or passion for designing inclusive urban mobility solutions that balance the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, and transit.

Seeking someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication skills.

Salary: $80,500

Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
