As a Security Officer Badge Desk in Bridgeville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and provide professional customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will help support a secure environment while responding to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity, working as part of a team that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.

Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel regarding access issues, policy questions, and/or security-related matters that arise during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
