DATA ANALYST (MID) (LI2S)
Bowhead seeks a Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our team supporting the Program Office for Logistics Integrated Information Solutions - Marine Corps (LI2S-MC) in Stafford, VA. The Data Analyst will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and lead or collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and program analysts within a scaled agile environment.
The Data Analyst will provide technical expertise using analytical tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from data. Identifies relevant data sources, performs data cleansing/analysis, develops data models, uses data visualization software to present findings.
Responsibilities
Provide application and database administration for assigned Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) Systems Engineering (SE) tools (Micro Focus SBM, ALM, and DOORS), which includes managing user accounts, permissions, and roles, and advising on the design of current and future SE tools.
Manage and resolve all SE tool trouble tickets, coordinating with the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) help desk and developers as necessary, and will notify users of any tool issues, outages, upgrades, and resolution statuses.
Assess user requirements for tool modifications, provide recommendations, and coordinate with NSERC on all tool requirements and upgrades, including assisting with implementation. The contractor shall also provide a quarterly NSERC user account reconciliation report, recommending account closures where appropriate.

Qualifications
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university; MA/MS degree preferred.
At least six (6) years of professional experience including at least four (4) years of specialized experience on high visible or mission critical projects within DoD.
Experience with Navy or Marine Corps programs preferred.
Proven ability to work on high visible or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team or perform independently.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
