Description We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeler to join a creative retail design team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position focuses on shaping immersive store environments and developing visual concepts that connect brand storytelling with consumer experience. The ideal candidate brings advanced 3D design expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to translate strategic ideas into scalable spatial solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to create high-impact retail concepts that balance creativity, functionality, and executional feasibility.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed 3D models and visualizations for retail spaces, fixtures, and branded environments that support engaging customer experiences.

Partner with designers, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment across concept development, design execution, timelines, and budgets.

Develop modular and adaptable design solutions that can be implemented across multiple retail formats while preserving creative quality.

Present design directions, renderings, and spatial concepts clearly to internal teams, creative leadership, and client stakeholders.

Guide best practices for 3D asset organization, file management, and workflow consistency across the design team.

Apply advanced tools such as 3D Studio Max, KeyShot, Unreal Engine, and SolidWorks to build compelling visual outputs and design solutions.

Support the upkeep and optimization of 3D software tools, rendering resources, and technical design systems used by the team.

Contribute to a collaborative studio culture by sharing ideas, encouraging innovation, and supporting high standards for design excellence. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and spatial design, ideally within retail or branded environments.

Advanced proficiency in 3D Studio Max and strong working knowledge of rendering and visualization platforms such as KeyShot and Unreal Engine.

Experience using SolidWorks for design development and technical execution.

Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and related design applications.

Solid understanding of retail design processes, store environments, and how physical spaces influence consumer engagement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex design ideas to senior creative stakeholders and clients.

Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Innovation starts with people.®
