Summary You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES TRAINING LEADER in the RESOURCE TRAINING AND ADMINISTRATION DIVISION - CODE 900T of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will prepare and conduct formal and informal classroom instruction for mechanics/apprentices. You will prepare lesson plans, visual aids, handouts, mock-ups and obtain necessary other related training materials. You will evaluate the progress of the mechanics/apprentices. You will write/develop and revise lesson plans/Trade Training Plan and other applicable documents. You will work directly with mechanics/apprentices and provide direction and mentor them. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230. Employees that do not exercise their return rights within five years are no longer eligible for return rights and will be treated as a local hire. Pay retention may be granted when certain conditions are met.
