Overview
We're looking for an Account Director to own day-to-day relationships and guide end-to-end delivery across web, UX/UI, and mobile app initiatives. In this role, you'll translate business and marketing objectives into clear roadmaps and briefs, partner closely with strategy, creative, analytics, and program management, and confidently present performance insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. You'll bring 7+ years of agency/consultancy experience, strong digital and UX/UI fluency, and a proactive, collaborative leadership style-while helping shape better client processes, driving account growth, and managing scopes, resourcing, and profitability for healthy, sustainable delivery.
Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day client relationship as a trusted partner-aligning stakeholders and keeping work moving across digital, web, UX/UI, and app initiatives with clear, confident direction.
Demonstrate genuine interest in the work and a commitment to understanding the client's business and goals.
Translate business and marketing objectives into clear roadmaps, priorities, and briefs that teams can execute.
Guide creative and UX/UI strategy across web and app experiences, grounded in audience insights, channel performance, and business goals.
Partner with strategy, creative, UX/UI, analytics, and program management to take work from concept to launch with high quality and momentum.
Tell the performance story-sharing results, insights, and recommendations with senior stakeholders.
Drive and elevate the team-supporting and providing day-to-day leadership that helps people do their best work.
Navigate client processes with ease-and help improve them-bringing calm, clarity, and momentum to how we work together.
Drive account growth by spotting new opportunities and proactively raising what's possible.
Contribute to staffing plans and manage account financials including scopes, resourcing, and profitability to ensure healthy delivery and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
7+ years of client-facing experience in an agency, consultancy, or digital services environment.
Demonstrated digital proficiency with websites and mobile applications.
Working knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
Strong client leadership presence, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
Collaborative, cross-functional leader with strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action.
Strong interpersonal skills; collaborative, solutions-oriented, and able to drive work to completion.
Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and internal team members at all levels of the organization.
Ability to understand and operate within established client processes and culture, and recommend improvements when appropriate.
Proactive in identifying opportunities beyond the immediate client request.
Proven ability to use data and insights to inform recommendations and decisions.
Able to synthesize complex information into clear summaries, recommendations, and next steps.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating broad direction into actionable plans.
Confident communicator who can represent the team, provide perspective, and make decisions when needed.
Ability to travel bi-monthly for client meetings and presentations.
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., health insurance, insurance, financial services) is a plus.

Compensation Range: $97,375 - $133,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
