Presbyterian Homes & Services_Optage Meals is seeking an Intern for its team.

The Optage Meals Internship Program provides students with hands-on exposure to real-world operations, strategic initiatives, and professional development. Interns work on project-based assignments that directly support organizational goals while gaining practical experience in their field of study.

This internship is ideal for students seeking to apply academic learning in a professional, mission-driven environment while exploring potential career pathways.

About Optage Meals

Optage Meals is dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative meal solutions that support health, nutrition, and operational excellence. Our internship program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience while contributing to real organizational initiatives that make an impact.

Responsibilities

The Optage Meals internship may contribute to projects in one or more of the following areas, depending on background and organizational needs:

Construction & Facilities Projects

Support building improvements, infrastructure upgrades, or equipment modernization

Assist with initiatives aimed at improving workflow, safety, or operational efficiency

Information Technology (IT) Projects

Support implementation ofDSSI Menu.ai

Research and evaluate replacement options for current HDS software

Assist with workflow mapping and digital process improvements

Business & Marketing Projects

Help develop a business plan for expanding services to external clients beyond PHS

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling

Support branding, messaging, or value proposition development

Research & Development (R&D) Projects

Explore new materials, technologies, or packaging solutions

Evaluate operational or culinary innovations

Identify opportunities to enhance and elevate the Optage Meals product line

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., business, nutrition, food service, engineering, IT, marketing, or related fields)

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Interest in food systems, senior care, operations, technology, or innovation preferred

Benefits

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
