TheDocuments Management, Imaging and Pre-Enrollment Review Specialist Team Lead reports to the Supervisor of Provider Enrollment and has close working relationships with the unit team and the other units of the MPS division. Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and support in the Member and Provider Services division by monitoring and processing a variety of work items with the electronic document management system (EDMS) team
Assist the unit supervisor to make and alert staff to priority changes
Effectively use staff to manage the work during peak periods and eliminate backlogs
Coordinating document management functions and providing consultation to internal team members regarding EDMS policies and procedures
Act as a lead resource and provide day to day assistance related to:
the intake, triage, flow, and management of paper and electronic documents for a large scale program enrollment operations; with
job components needed to operate an automated electronic documents management system and associated software.The division's automated documents imaging system and associated documents management processes will evolve with its technology and new methods used to send, receive, and process its documents
Act as the primary resource for the EDMS scanning/indexing software.The primary resource is responsible for:
Developing and maintaining any changes to the software
Developing schedules for testing and training
Assessing business needs for the Units and Divisions
Developing roll out plans for new software enhancements
Assist/conduct resource management, workload and performance studies
Work with the Provider Enrollment Supervisor to implement business area changes, implementation of new policies, and transitions impacting the systems supports and business processes used by the MPS Division
Monitor staff response and performance during transitions
Serve as contact for and liaison with Provider Enrollment and other MPS Division units
Minimum Qualifications

Communication Skills sufficient to neutrally convey information, data, and different perspectives on issues,
Database, Documents, and Records Management sufficient to compile data, monitor computer printouts and generate reports; write with clarity and prepare basic level technical documents and reports
Development of Administrative and Programmatic Procedures sufficient to develop and modify administrative policies and procedures
Specialized Terminology sufficient know the codes and coding system for the different @types of health care providers enrolled as Medicaid Providers
Preferred Qualifications
Detailed understanding of the division's documents, its data, data names, and flow of work
Experience with MMIS data and document contents to obtain, cross check, verify, and validate data used to index, route, sort, and store section documents
Experience with the electronic document management system (EDMS) scanning/indexing software
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
