AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies offers paid summer internships to students enrolled in full time undergraduate or graduate degree programs.

The AmeriHealth Caritas Summer Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience while learning about the healthcare industry and the work we do to improve access to care and support healthier communities.

Interns will work closely with a designated manager and mentor to contribute to real team initiatives and complete a defined project aligned with departmental priorities. Throughout the program, interns will collaborate with team members, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to the operations and strategy behind managed care, healthcare delivery, and community impact.

At the conclusion of the internship, interns may present their work and key learnings to leaders and peers.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program

Completion of at least one year of college coursework by the start of the internship

Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred majors may include, but are not limited to:

Communications

Journalism

Marketing

English

Or, related disciplines

The intern will work directly with the Manager of Retail Sales and Marketing for Medicare. Intern would be responsible for project management, researching, proofing and editing of point of sale and broker communications to support new business implementation through the development of marketing materials, pre-sales kit. The intern would be working on sales materials scripts, trainings, and agent materials.
