Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Electrical Controls Assembly Technician to join our Alpena team. This role involves assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and related equipment. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we welcome individuals who are passionate about electrical systems and eager to grow in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on schematics and layout drawings

Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards

Troubleshoot wiring and component issues during assembly

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Skills Needed

Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical assembly equipment

Ability to wire control panels accurately and efficiently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge Required

Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (or willingness to learn)

Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards

Basic knowledge of electrical components and control systems

Ability to Implement

Apply schematic interpretation to real-world panel assembly

Identify and resolve wiring issues during the build process

Work independently and collaboratively to meet production goals

Maintain high standards of safety and organization in the workspace
