Description

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a team in New Richmond, Wisconsin. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts payable and receivable while ensuring accurate data entry and invoice processing.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Perform timely and precise billing tasks to support financial operations.

Enter financial data into systems, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.

Process invoices and resolve discrepancies in a meticulous manner.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile, analyze, and maintain financial records.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to deadlines.

Maintain organized and accessible documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

Communicate with vendors and customers to address payment and billing inquiries.

Support the overall accounting department by assisting with additional tasks as required.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in billing and invoice processing.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its financial functions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
