Temple University's Graduate and International Programs Department at the Fox School of Business is searching for an Assistant Director of Graduate Career Readiness!

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Graduate Career Readiness provides broad-based career and professional development support for graduate business students, including specialized MS students and MBA students. This role focuses on foundational and applied career services, including resume and LinkedIn development, interviewing, job search skills, negotiation preparation, professional communication, and career-readiness programming.

This role ensures that all graduate students have access to strong, consistent, practical career support. The Assistant Director serves as a key provider of scalable career-readiness services across graduate business programs.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree

Three (3) or more years of experience in human resources, career services, recruiting/talent acquisition, job placement, or a related field

Experience in student advising, professional development, graduate student support, or related area

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience

Master's degree in business administration, higher education, counseling, human resources, organizational development, or related field

Experience working with graduate business students, international students, specialized master's students, or working professionals

Experience designing workshops, career resources, or professional development programming

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of resumes, LinkedIn, interviewing, networking, job search strategy, and professional communication

Excellent presentation, writing, coaching, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with students from diverse academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple programs, workshops, and student appointments

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with business career paths in areas such as analytics, finance, marketing, management, supply chain, HR, accounting, consulting, entrepreneurship, or technology

Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skill, customer service orientation and project management abilities

Knowledge of career management platforms, student databases, CRM systems, or appointment-tracking tools

Proficiency in data analysis, with proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Ability to work occasional weekend/evening hours

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote) - the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
