Registration Clerk

As a Registration Clerk, you will serve as a welcoming first point of contact, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey while ensuring accurate registration and scheduling processes.

You'll play an important part in supporting patient care by providing exceptional service, maintaining accurate information, and helping patients access the resources they need.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients, visitors, and guests with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service

Verify demographic, insurance, and financial information to support timely billing and reimbursement

Assist patients with required forms, documentation, and registration processes

Collect patient payments and provide information regarding available financial assistance resources

Coordinate with clinical, financial, and support teams to ensure a seamless patient experience

Manage scheduling, authorizations, and electronic health record documentation as needed

Support department operations by maintaining accurate records and completing work queues in a timely manner

Adapt to changing patient volumes and provide coverage across registration areas when needed

Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.

Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email and web browser.
