employment. The FSET Lead Career Adviser serves as a key leader within
the FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program, ensuring
participants receive effective, participant-centered services that
support their career goals and long-term self-sufficiency. This position
provides mentorship, coaching, and guidance to case management staff
while overseeing service quality, participant outcomes, and program
compliance. The ideal candidate is a skilled workforce development
professional with a passion for developing staff, improving program
performance, and helping individuals overcome barriers to employment.
Job Description Provide day-to-day coaching, and guidance to case
management staff. Support onboarding, training, mentoring, and ongoing
professional development activities. Foster a culture of accountability,
collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for staff handling complex
participant situations and employment barriers. Lead team meetings, case
staffing sessions, and performance discussions. Ensure participant
assessments, employability plans, and service delivery align with FSET
requirements and participant career goals. Review case records and
service delivery practices to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely
follow-up. Monitor participant engagement, retention, and employment
outcomes and implement strategies to improve performance. Support staff
in identifying and addressing barriers to employment, education, and
