JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary As a Sales Account Representative at Badger Tire & Wheel, you play a full-cycle sales role responsible for driving revenue across our tire, wheel, lighting, and trailer component product lines, supporting our dealer, distributor, OEM, and manufacturing customers. This position requires exceptional customer service skills and strong industry knowledge to support both inside and outside sales activities. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while proactively developing new accounts nationwide. Your focus will be on delivering expert product guidance, reliable support, and a customer experience that reflects Badger Tire & Wheel\'s commitment to quality and service. You will not be managing people, but you will manage relationships, accounts, and growth opportunities. Role and Responsibilities Develop a strong product understanding of tires, wheels, trailer components, and hardware. Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and upcoming industry developments. Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with new and existing customers nationwide. Develop and maintain accurate, organized records of accounts, activities, and opportunities. Perform outbound call campaigns to identify and qualify sales opportunities. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas. Manage and update pricing, costs, forecasting, and sales projections. Deliver best-in-class customer service at every stage of the sales process. Maintain clear and effective internal communication between Sales, Support, and other departments. Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences as assigned. Travel as required to support sales efforts. Perform order entry and related tasks using QuickBooks. Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Answer customers\' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Recommend products to customers, based on customers\' needs and interests. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Prepare sales contracts and order forms. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors\' products, prices, and sales. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences. Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising. Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary. Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in retail stores, or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising. Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs. Negotiate details of contracts and payments. Obtain credit information about prospective customers. Forward orders to manufacturers. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in a related industry. Strong knowledge of the recreational trailer market, including tires, wheels, lighting, and related components. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skillsboth written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Salesforce (or similar CRM systems). Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Highly competitive drive with a strong motivation to achieve and exceed goals. Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure, while maintaining confidence and professionalism.
