SUNDERLAND Insurance Account Manager The Insurance Account Manager is
the primary point of contact for the agency\'s personal lines book of
business and a critical link in the client relationship. This role is
responsible for the accurate and timely servicing of personal lines
insurance policies, delivering a consistently high standard of client
experience, and supporting the agency\'s overall sales and growth
objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a
client-first mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities
with professionalism and accuracy. Duties and Responsibilities Manage
all aspects of an assigned personal lines book of business including new
business processing, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, responding
promptly and professionally to requests ranging from routine service
needs to complex coverage questions Generate complete and accurate
quotes and applications to ensure a timely and positive experience for
new business clients Evaluate carrier appetite and product offerings to
market and place coverage appropriately on behalf of clients Advise
clients on coverage options, policy limits, deductibles, and available
carriers to ensure adequate and appropriate protection Process all
policies and transactions in accordance with agency procedures and
carrier underwriting guidelines Maintain an accurate renewal expiration
list and process all renewals on a timely basis Identify and pursue
cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business
to strengthen client coverage and support agency growth Support
agency-wide sales and marketing initiatives, including personal lines
campaigns Maintain complete and accurate client records in the agency
management system in full compliance with agency documentation standards
Stay current on industry developments, carrier updates, product changes,
and continuing education requirements Perform other duties as assigned
by agency leadership
