Job Title: Marketing Cloud Operations Specialist

Work Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr

Education Requirement: High school diploma required

Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience: Mandatory

Position Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Marketing Cloud Operations Specialist to provide crucial marketing operations support during a leadership transition. This temporary remote position focuses on the execution and optimization of email marketing campaigns and maintenance of marketing assets and data extensions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Email Campaign Management: Build, test, and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Asset Organization: Create, maintain, and organize Content Builder assets and folders.

Data Extension Management: Set up and maintain Data Extensions, ensuring audience accuracy and compliance with standards.

Audience Segmentation: Support audience selection and segmentation for effective campaign targeting.

Workflow Documentation: Assist in documenting marketing workflows and supporting process improvements.

Standards & Compliance: Follow established naming conventions, organizational standards, and best practices for marketing operations.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, events, and communications teams to coordinate timelines and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Content Builder, Email Studio, and Data Extensions.

Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to follow processes.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self-driven, with strong initiative and proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience in higher education, alumni associations, or nonprofit marketing preferred.
