What You'll Be Doing
As a Welding Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer, you'll serve as a technical resource supporting highly automated body shop operations.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting welding and automated production equipment
Supporting robotic welding and joining systems
Working closely with Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams
Identifying root causes of manufacturing issues
Improving welding and production processes
Supporting new robotics installations and automation upgrades
Coaching technicians on troubleshooting and process improvements
Driving continuous improvement projects
Monitoring production performance, quality, and equipment reliability
Helping maintain world-class safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or related technical field)
Manufacturing internship, co-op, project, or work experience
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills
Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts when needed
Highly Preferred
Manufacturing Engineering experience
Welding Engineering experience
Robotics or Automation experience
Controls or PLC exposure
Body Shop manufacturing experience
Automotive manufacturing experience
Knowledge of resistance welding processes

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
