Job Duties:This role performs routine accounting work, including maintaining, posting, and balancing accounting and financial statements, records, documents, and reports. Youll work under moderate supervision with some room for initiative and independent judgment.Your responsibilities include classifying, coding, posting, and balancing financial documents in an automated system, tracking and monitoring documents through completion, and reviewing and auditing financial records for accuracy and compliance with legal and departmental standards. Youll also audit accounting controls and financial transactions, research and reconcile discrepancies, and prepare clear reports of your findings.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You enjoy auditing, interaction with customers, working as a team to reach a shared goal.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have knowledge of automated financial information systems and understand generally accepted accounting principles and procedures related to maintaining accounting records and automated systems.
