Opportunity

The Sales Associate II plays a key role in delivering a premium shopping experience by maintaining well-stocked, visually appealing shelves and providing knowledgeable, personalized service. This position supports the store's commitment to quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh, high-quality products

Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and minimize waste

Maintain visually appealing and organized displays that reflect the store's upscale brand

Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and locations

Provide knowledgeable guidance and recommendations on specialty, organic, and gourmet products and suggest pairings

Keep store clean, safe, and clutter-free

Ensure shelves are dust-free and products are front-faced and properly labeled

Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of work areas, equipment, and common spaces to maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic environment

Process shrink/waste through register systems

Use handheld devices to verify price accuracy

Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., produce, guest services, deli)

Assist other departments when needed

Support store events, promotions, and seasonal merchandising efforts

Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new products and store standards

Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment

Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management

This is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

Previous retail or grocery experience required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Familiarity with POS systems and comfortable with cash handling

Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and push a floor scrubber

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $14.50 - $21.70. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
