What You'll Do
As a Laboratory Technician, you'll gain valuable industry experience while supporting laboratory and production operations. You'll receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced scientific environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing laboratory processes such as extractions, filtrations, clarification, and compounding activities.
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment including centrifuges, freeze dryers, ball mills, pH meters, and other specialized instruments.
Following calibration, verification, and quality procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Maintaining laboratory documentation, cleaning logs, maintenance records, and quality paperwork.
Supporting inventory and production-related activities through SAP and other internal systems.
Adhering to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, or another science-related discipline.
Laboratory experience through coursework, undergraduate research, internships, co-ops, or professional work experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain documentation.
Interest in scientific manufacturing, laboratory operations, or pharmaceutical/biotech careers.
Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and software systems.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow professionally.
Ability to work full-time on a fixed day shift schedule.

Work Environment
Laboratory and production setting supporting the manufacturing of scientific and healthcare-related products.
Monday-Friday schedule, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Exposure to laboratory chemicals and allergens while following established safety procedures.
Work with advanced equipment including centrifuges, freeze dryers, ball mills, pH meters, scales, freezers, dialysis tanks, and more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Washington, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
