As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credentials in Wyoming, MI , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

Thur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor entrances, gates, and/or shipping and receiving access points to help regulate authorized access for personnel, vendors, and delivery traffic at the location.

Verify identification, credentials, manifests, and/or visitor records in accordance with site policies, and report unusual activity, discrepancies, or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
