Hiring Grinding Room Technician / Shop Laborer (Abbeville, SC **)

Pay:** $14-16/hr + Incentive Pay

Shift: 1st 7a-3:30pm (M-F)

2nd 4p-1:30a (M-Th) 4p-8p (F)

Hiring Grinding Room Technicians / Shop Laborers to finish and prepare copper castings in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

Grind, sand, and polish castings to remove excess material

Use grinders, belt sanders, and saws to finish parts

Cut gates and risers from castings

Inspect parts for defects and quality

Move and handle castings using carts or hoists

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

Experience with hand and power tools

Ability to operate grinders, sanders, and saws

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE

Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Abbeville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $15.50/hr.
