Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY DATA SCIENTIST in the Information Management and Technology Department of SUBMEPP ACTIVITY. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the development and management of a Data Analytics Program within SUBMEPP and driving innovation with data and analysis. You will research, develop, test, market, produce, review and maintain SUBMEPP's data analytics projects including: unique work, one-time tasks, surge capacity for other areas of the office, and potential new products, processes and services. You will scope each task to determine the general approach which should be used, the segments of the task, estimate of man-days for each segment, and recommended completion dates and priority. You will perform documentation reviews and analysis to assure consistent quality and thoroughness of SUBMEPP analytics work, taking up problems resolving them with cognizant personnel. You will review work in progress as well as the finished products received both from government analytics and contractors to ensure that the products and services are technically sound and satisfy program or customer requirements. You will judge quality of the products to ensure they contain adequate information to permit further evaluation and implementation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-05 through GS-11 equivalency), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
