Job Description

The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the AGR Sr. Business Unit Manager and involves a variety of administrative tasks supporting the management of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include small projects, clerical duties, and other tasks that ensure smooth operations. This role supports operational tasks in all production departments, such as work order management, vendor support, BuySmart management, and department supply ordering. The individual must prioritize independently and maintain professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.

Job Description

Utilization of business systems (Aravo, BuySmart) Data steward for setting up and updating vendors, acquiring Risk Classification form, CDAs and Confirmation of Insurance as needed.

Responsible for following through on PO orders/issues.

Supports and follows through on business financial transactions. (Concur Meeting & Purchase card expense reports) Aids vendors in resolving invoice issues. Works with the Engineering department to resolve vendor issues.

Provides back up administrative/logistical support to Site People Leaders.

Manages reward voucher program by picking up and maintaining reward items and providing distribution.

High level of phone and email interaction with SME associates and potential external vendors.

Responsible for submitting facilities requests on behalf of the site when needed.

Supports the site updating and improvement efforts.

Manage inventory control and stock parts for equipment and consumables.

Run and provide reports and data for financial accrual and tracking.

Performs cycle counts.

Schedules and assistance with routine meetings including staff meetings, update meetings, one-on-one, etc.

Assists with managing credit card transactions and expense reports in Concur, as needed.

Supports in plant celebrations and events around employee engagement, special projects, as required including Associate Resource Groups (ARGs), BD sponsored events and Focus Charity.

Coordinate or assist in coordinating department celebrations and events around employee engagement

Provide administrative support for special projects.

Provides support for other administrative assistants as needed.

Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD policies, and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED
