Job Summary
The David Eccles School of Business Graduate Programs & Executive Education department is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support enrollment marketing through CRM data management and marketing operations. Approximately 75% of this role is dedicated to maintaining, validating, organizing, and reporting on prospect and lead data within Salesforce and related marketing systems. The accuracy of this work is critical to the successful execution of marketing campaigns, recruitment efforts, and enrollment reporting.
The remaining responsibilities support the execution of enrollment marketing initiatives, including email and text campaigns, audience management, event coordination, quality assurance, and general marketing operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and technology while contributing to a collaborative marketing team.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry, content review, and scheduling
Critical thinking skills and sound judgment; comfortable asking questions when needed
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote team members, including participating in virtual meetings for training and direction
Ability to follow campaign timelines and execution checklists
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities:
Data Management & CRM Operations (Approximately 75%)
Accurately enter, update, validate, and maintain lead and prospect data within Salesforce and related marketing systems.
Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources.
Maintain high standards of data integrity to support marketing campaigns, recruitment activities, reporting, and analytics.
Create, organize, and manage audience lists and data segments for email, text message, and digital marketing campaigns.
Run reports, validate outputs, and assist with campaign performance tracking and enrollment reporting.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, and proactively communicate issues that may impact marketing efforts.
Support CRM workflows, automation, and marketing operations by testing, documenting, and improving processes.
Maintain organized documentation and data records to support quality assurance and operational continuity.
Marketing Operations & Campaign Support (Approximately 25%)
Assist with building, scheduling, testing, and quality assuring email and text message campaigns.
Coordinate marketing communications and recruiting event schedules across marketing platforms.
Support campaign execution through audience preparation, content updates, and operational coordination.
Assist with preparing marketing materials, event collateral, and promotional resources.
Monitor campaign activity and provide basic reporting and analytics as requested.
Provide general administrative support to the Enrollment Marketing team, including occasional front desk or phone coverage when needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned in support of Graduate Programs and Executive Education marketing initiatives.
