Position Summary...
The Principal Software Engineer, Information Security, leads the design, development, and implementation of strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the enterprise. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for modernizing identity platforms, driving automation, and delivering scalable solutions that improve user lifecycle management, security, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines deep IAM expertise with strong software engineering capabilities and has a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from architecture through delivery.
About the team:
The Workforce Identity Lifecycle Management (WILM) team manages the complete lifecycle of workforce identities, ensuring precise and timely account provisioning, updates, and deactivation. The team delivers automated identity services integrated with HR systems and supports platforms like Active Directory and cloud environments. Focused on identity synchronization, automation, and governance, WILM enhances data accuracy, reduces manual tasks, and maintains secure, compliant identity operations. Their efforts ensure consistent identity data across the enterprise, provide essential access management, and drive continuous improvements in identity security and operational efficiency.
What you'll do...
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise IAM solutions and modernization efforts.
Architect and develop automated user provisioning and deprovisioning solutions across enterprise systems.
Design and implement identity data consistency and synchronization capabilities that support enterprise migration and mobility initiatives.
Partner with business, security, infrastructure, messaging, HR, and application teams to deliver integrated IAM solutions.
Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and organizations, influencing architecture, standards, and engineering best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to identity automation and operational processes.
Mentor engineers and serve as a subject matter expert for IAM strategy, development, and platform engineering.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or identity and access management.
Deep expertise in enterprise IAM technologies and user lifecycle management.
Experience designing and implementing identity provisioning and synchronization solutions.
Strong development experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, Java, or similar.
Experience integrating enterprise applications with identity platforms and APIs.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, and directory services.
Experience working across large, complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
