Kelly Services in partnership with Cummins, formerly Meritor, has immediate openings to join the Cummins team in Manning, SC . Several Assembly Technician opportunities available.

Shifts available

1st shift : Monday - Friday 7am - 3:20pm, $17/hr

2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, $17/hr

Must be willing to work frequent overtime (up to 7 days a week)

What's a typical day as a Production Associate? You'll be:

Assembling and inspecting braking system components (e.g., cam brakes, ASA) using required tools, gauges, and equipment

Optimizing cycle times, meeting defined standards, and achieving production goals in a team-oriented environment

Monitoring quality and making necessary adjustments to keep products within specifications.

Maintaining a clean, organized work area and ensuring all equipment is safely locked out when not in use Key Skills & Requirements:

Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle automotive components of various sizes

Dependability, punctuality, a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential

Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment Physical Demands:

Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, reach, and handle objects

Close vision and focus adjustment required
