Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING DIVISION of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. Responsibilities You will review financial program execution to ensure compliance with guidance (e.g., Department of Defense [DoD], Financial Management Regulations, Department of the Navy policy and budget guidance, Department of Defense acquisition regulations). You will administer financial management policies and procedures to meet agency goals. You will analyze financial information to create financial reports. You will prepare ad-hoc labor projections and financial reports for customers. You will advise managers regarding financial transactions to facilitate program execution. You will oversee the assignment of work to ensure work is completed based on priorities and resource capabilities. You will perform reconciliation of financial accounts, create reports and audit transactions in the various systems. You will perform management and execution of a fiscal program (i.e. Government Purchase Card, Government Travel Credit Card, Defense Travel System, Defense Property and Accountability System, and/or Support Agreements). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring financial transactions are in compliance with policies and instructions (i.e. Appropriation laws, Financial Management Regulations (FMR), etc.); 2) Completing and submitting financial reports, budget exhibits, and/or data calls; 3) Interpreting financial policies and providing guidance and instruction; 4) Supervising or leading a team of employees (i.e. assigning work, monitoring performance, awarding and disciplining personnel, etc.); 5) Monitoring/reviewing labor transactions to ensure they are supported by Key Supporting Documents to meet audit requirements.
