Job Title: 1st Shift Cable Assembler
Job Description
This full-time, first-shift role focuses on assembling and soldering cable and electronic components used in live performance and permanent installation audio systems. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available as needed. In this position, you assemble small wire components, follow detailed diagrams, and use hand tools to build high-quality audio cabling and related products that are installed in venues around the world.
Responsibilities
Assemble small wire components, including different-sized wires and terminals, according to provided diagrams and work instructions.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and crimpers to complete cable assemblies accurately and efficiently.
Perform basic electronic assembly tasks, including soldering components onto circuit boards when required.
Pull and route thicker cables and apply sufficient hand strength to tighten screw terminals to approximately 130 ft-lbs when needed.
Follow production and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
Work collaboratively in a small team environment with approximately five other assemblers in a shared workspace.
Maintain a clean and organized work area within the climate-controlled cable assembly room.
Sit or stand as needed to complete assembly tasks while maintaining focus and productivity throughout the shift.
Learn and follow safety guidelines related to hand tools, power tools, and electronic assembly equipment.
Participate in training to build skills in assembly, production, and mechanical tasks, and apply feedback to improve performance.
Essential Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to work with hand tools and understand simple assembly processes.
Sufficient hand strength to pull thicker cables and tighten screw terminals to the required torque when necessary.
Ability to work in a production or assembly environment, maintaining focus and attention to detail.
Comfort with using small hand tools such as screwdrivers and crimpers for extended periods.
Ability to read and follow diagrams and basic assembly documentation.
Capability to work both seated and standing, depending on task requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in assembly, general assembly, or production line work is preferred but not required.
Experience in manufacturing or general production environments is a plus.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly work is beneficial.
Background in electronic assembly or working with wiring and terminals is helpful.
Entry-level candidates and individuals fresh out of school are welcome, provided they are willing to learn.
Mechanical ability and interest in working with audio-related components will support success in the role.

Work Environment
You will work in a climate-controlled cable assembly room that remains clean and cool in the summer and comfortably warm in the winter. Assemblers sit side by side at individual booths, with the flexibility to stand or sit while completing tasks. The environment is collaborative, with a small group of approximately five assemblers sharing the workspace. Standard dress includes jeans and closed-toed shoes; steel-toe footwear is not required. The setting is focused yet relaxed, designed to support careful, detailed assembly work with access to appropriate tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
