This role offers an opportunity to help launch a brand-new delivery partner program in the Florida market. You will recruit local businesses to join a hub-based delivery network, working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors. The position focuses on door-to-door outreach, presenting the program, qualifying prospects, guiding them through the application process, and supporting community-based recruitment events. The role involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses in a clear and compelling way to generate interest and encourage applications.
Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process.
Lead and manage sales pipeline activities in Salesforce, ensuring all leads, interactions, and statuses are accurately recorded and updated.
Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and program awareness.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to maintain accurate partner and prospect data.
Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential delivery partners.
Provide high-quality customer service to prospective partners by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping solve problems encountered during the application process.
Maintain a high sense of urgency and professionalism while working independently in the field and coordinating with the broader team.
Essential Skills
1-2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Outside or field sales experience.
CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly with business owners.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for pitching, presenting, and follow-up.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage leads, data, and documentation in Salesforce and Excel.
Problem-solving skills to support applicants and resolve issues in the field.
Tech-savvy approach with experience working across multiple systems and technologies.
Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
Previous field sales experience is a plus.
Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm for working with others, and a strong sense of urgency.
Comfort working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with field leadership and community partners.
Work Environment
This position is based near Pensacola, Florida, with a territory that extends up to approximately a two-hour driving radius. You will be on the road 3-5 days per week visiting prospective businesses and attending community events, and you will work from home for the remainder of the time to complete follow-up, data entry, and coordination tasks. The role is highly mobile and field-based, with frequent use of a personal vehicle for travel. You will work extensively with Salesforce and Excel, as well as other digital tools and communication platforms, to manage leads and track progress. The compensation structure includes uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner conversions, with payments at different stages of the partner lifecycle (application, readiness to launch, and post-launch milestones). Additional benefits include paid time off eligibility after a successful performance period, a monthly phone stipend, and mileage reimbursement at a specified per-mile rate. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
