Location Description
Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start.
Responsibilities
We're looking for reliable team members for our Packaging and Processing lines to operate high-speed equipment and help keep our production lines running smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning machinery, and being part of a fast-moving environment, this role is a great fit.

What You'll Do - Packaging
Operate and set up automated packaging machines using touchscreen controls
Ensure proper coding, labeling, and packaging while keeping materials stocked
Perform quality checks, verify metal detector operation, and complete accurate documentation
Assist with basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe, food-grade work area following GMP and HACCP guidelines
Communicate with team members, support production needs, and help train new employees
Complete end-of-shift cleaning, paperwork, and other duties as assigned
What You'll Do - Processing
Operate and monitor processing equipment on production lines
Perform quality checks on raw, intermediate, and finished products
Make batches using dry/raw ingredients and vitamin/slurry mixtures
Record production data for waste, downtime, and efficiency
Perform light maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
Assist with wet washing, deep cleaning, and sanitation
Occasionally operates a forklift to move materials
Communicate with team members and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
What You Bring
High school diploma or GED required
2-3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or food/beverage experience preferred
Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, or quality processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. occasionally)
Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights when needed
Work around moving equipment, dust, and noise typical of a manufacturing environment
Schedule
Night Shift - 12-hour shifts starting at 4:00, 4:30, or 5:00 PM (based on business unit)
Follows a 2-2-3 schedule :
Week 1: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
Week 2: 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Every other weekend off
Includes built-in overtime pay

The pay range for this position is $23.25 to $23.25 per hour.
