Patient & Provider Liaison (Entry Level)Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient & Provider Liaison to support patient care coordination and administrative operations within a healthcare environment. This role serves as a key communication bridge between patients, providers, and internal teams, ensuring a seamless experience across medical settings.

Key Responsibilities

Patient & Provider Liaison

Manage patient communications related to ER visits, inpatient hospital services, and Early Bird Alert portals

Provide patient education and ensure understanding of available healthcare resources

Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams

Benefits & Enrollment Support

Assist with marketing and enrollment efforts for healthcare programs

Collaborate with brokers and benefits specialists to support enrollment processes

Provide guidance on benefit offerings and eligibility

Administrative & Care Coordination

Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment

Coordinate patient transitions between care settings

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records

Support prior authorization, insurance verification, and benefit verification processes

Required Skills

Strong customer service and communication skills

Experience in care coordination and healthcare workflows

Ability to thrive in a call center environment

Familiarity with:

Prior authorization

Insurance verification

Benefit verification

Proficiency in data entry and Excel data entry

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a managed care or healthcare setting

Advanced certification (e.g., Medical Assistant Certification or nursing school background ) highly preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Experience with project coordination or project management is a plus

Experience Level

Entry Level (with preferred relevant healthcare experience)

This is a Contract position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
