Position Overview:
You will support systems engineering activities within the Off-Road Vehicle organization by defining, managing, and validating vehicle and subsystem requirements. In this role, you work across cross-functional engineering teams to ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and aligned to stakeholder needs and project objectives. You will manage interfaces, support integration efforts, and drive requirement quality through structured systems engineering processes. This role is a compelling opportunity because you contribute to improving systems engineering maturity and directly impact product quality and execution across vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, and document system and subsystem requirements from stakeholders including engineering teams, program managers, and customers.
Develop, manage, and maintain requirements using tools such as Codebeamer to ensure traceability and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Drive requirement quality through application of systems engineering principles and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with engineering and software teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, implemented, and resolved when conflicts arise.
Validate and verify system requirements to ensure compliance with project objectives and defined standards.
Support development of test plans and test cases to confirm requirements are met.
Define and manage interface requirements across multiple systems and platforms.
Contribute to integration activities by ensuring proper alignment of system requirements across modules and platforms.
Support adoption and continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools across the organization.
Serve as a resource to teams on requirements management best practices and tools.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in product or subsystem design engineering within a stage gate process.
Experience applying systems engineering processes including requirements creation and management.
Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Codebeamer, DOORS, Jama, or similar.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Minimal travel required.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $84,000 to $111,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
