Job Title: Assembler/General Laborer

Job Description

Join a rapidly growing team where you will have the opportunity to assemble wood boxes according to customer specifications. We are looking for dedicated assemblers/general laborers to contribute to our success in serving major clients.

Responsibilities

Assemble wood boxes following customer-prescribed specifications.

Operate power tools, hand tools, and pneumatic nail guns.

Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.

Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Fill out productivity sheets and shipping tags legibly.

Essential Skills

Ability to read a tape measure.

Skillful in using power tools, hand tools, and nail guns.

Capability to lift approximately 40 pounds.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with band cutters and banders is advantageous.

Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.

Work Environment

Though the environment can be noisy with cutters, saws, and nail guns, it is not overly physically demanding. The role offers a structured schedule with the option for overtime, including a first shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and a second shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coal Valley, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
