Job Title: Production Associate - 1st Shift (East Moline)
Job Description
This role supports warehouse production operations by pulling and preparing copper pipe and tubing for shipment to major retail customers. You will work across multiple departments, including cutting, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment, to ensure products are accurately picked, properly protected, labeled, and safely loaded for outbound shipments.
Responsibilities
Move pipe and copper tubing to designated pick locations within the warehouse.
Pull and process customer orders accurately according to work orders.
Bar code and label pipe to ensure correct identification and tracking.
Bundle and wrap pipe securely to meet packaging and safety standards.
Cut pipe according to cut sheets and document completed cuts as required.
Segregate and identify scrap material appropriately for proper handling.
Cover wire and pipe with protective tubing before packaging and shipment.
Box and prepare products for shipment so they are secure and safely packaged.
Wrap finished product for shipment to customers such as large home improvement retailers.
Unload inbound trucks as needed, including moving materials to appropriate areas.
Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and methods.
Use basic hand tools and production equipment to complete daily tasks.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory support, assembly, labeling, and packaging.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and support cross-training across departments such as cutting, receiving, and shipping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working with pipe, tubing, or similar materials in a warehouse or production environment.
Comfort working in multiple warehouse departments, including cutting, receiving, and shipping.
Ability to learn quickly and cross-train across different tasks within 1-3 weeks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, labeling, and packaging.
Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures.
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist where needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse in East Moline, Illinois. Temperatures can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter months, so you should be comfortable working in varying conditions. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate but can become loud at times depending on department activities and the use of tools and equipment. You will work on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role is hands-on and physical, involving frequent movement, lifting, and handling of pipe and related materials, as well as regular use of hand tools and production equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
