Job Title: Warehouse Driver
Job Description
This position combines hands-on warehouse operations with local delivery responsibilities in a small, two-person shop. You will work closely with the on-site supervisor to handle all aspects of warehouse activity, including order pulling, stocking, inventory updates, and loading and unloading trucks, while also spending part of each day delivering orders to customers in the Duluth area using a company box truck. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to take ownership, wear many hats, and help run a well-organized warehouse operation.
Responsibilities
Work hand in hand with the on-site supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
Pull customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging.
Stock and replenish inventory in designated locations, maintaining an organized and easy-to-navigate warehouse.
Update and maintain inventory records in the inventory management system to track product movement and availability.
Operate a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment to safely load, unload, and move materials.
Load and unload trucks and company vehicles, ensuring products are handled safely and securely.
Plan and execute local delivery routes in the Duluth area, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers.
Operate a company box truck to deliver orders; perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Prepare and verify shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics contacts as needed to coordinate inventory flow and resolve discrepancies or issues.
Perform daily warehouse maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and inspecting storage areas to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
Use basic computer skills to enter orders, update inventory, and process shipments accurately.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers during deliveries and warehouse operations.
Handle general labor and material handling tasks such as palletizing, packing, and staging orders for shipment.
Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling tools as needed.
Follow all safety guidelines for vehicle operation, equipment use, and material handling.
Complete other warehouse or general duties as assigned to support overall shop operations.
Essential Skills
Ability to multitask and take ownership of the role in a small, two-person warehouse environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Clean driving record and a valid driver's license suitable for operating a box truck (no special license required).
Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Approximately 6+ months of warehouse or related experience is ideal.
Basic computer skills for order entry, inventory updates, and shipment processing.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment.
Reliability and punctuality to support consistent warehouse and delivery operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous delivery or driving experience, especially with box trucks, is a plus.
Certified or previous forklift operating experience is preferred.
Previous warehouse, material handling, or shipping experience is beneficial.
Comfort working in a smaller, organized warehouse with many aisles and parts.
Willingness to learn and be trained in all aspects of warehouse operations and deliveries.
Interest in long-term growth, including potential opportunities to help manage the shop or move into sales.

Work Environment
You will work in a small, organized two-person warehouse in Duluth with clearly laid-out aisles and a variety of parts and materials. The environment is hands-on and collaborative, with daily interaction and coordination with the on-site supervisor and periodic visits from corporate leadership. Typical hours are generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility as needed. The role involves frequent use of warehouse equipment such as sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as driving a company box truck for local deliveries. The setting is a traditional warehouse environment that requires regular movement, lifting, loading, and unloading, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and efficient operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
