Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) - Omaha

Overview

Join a small, collaborative maintenance team in a regulated manufacturing environment supporting the production of health and nutritional products. This role offers a strong mix of mechanical and electrical work, along with facility support, in a consistent day-shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including drive systems, moving components, and production line equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical issues on machinery and facility systems

Support facility maintenance needs, including building systems, utilities, and general repairs

Conduct routine equipment inspections and proactively identify potential issues to reduce downtime

Assist with installation, upgrades, and modifications of production equipment

Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with regulatory and internal standards

Work closely with maintenance team members and production staff to prioritize and complete tasks

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

Required:

Experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities

Working knowledge of electrical systems and basic troubleshooting

Experience with general facility maintenance

Ability to follow procedures in a regulated or quality-driven environment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

Preferred:

Experience in pharmaceutical, food-grade, or other regulated manufacturing environments

Experience in trades such as carpentry, construction, or concrete work

Familiarity with maintenance documentation and compliance standards

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
