Summary About the Position: Uses design and other technical experience to support Architect Engineer (A-E) contract development for Military Construction, Civil Works, and other District needs. Provides process and technical support through award of A-E contracts and Contract Officer Representative duties. Responsibilities Serves as a technical expert in developing strategies for acquisition of new contracts. Serves as a technical expert for the development and implementation of plans for contractor selection. Serves as a technical POC for the Project Delivery Team to brief the Chief of the Contracting Office. Develops Source Selection Plans for construction projects in conjunction with Project Managers and Contracting Officers in accordance with the Army Source Selection Manual and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Develops A-E scopes of work to procure A-E services for (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) IDIQ contracts and individual A--E selections that require A-E selection boards. Assists the chairs of A-E selection boards by preparing all information, performs debriefings, and makes recommendations to the Contracting Officer for award. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Salary range for 0808, 0819, 1350 series: $106,437 to $138,370.
