In this armed post, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable approach, working as part of a team that values agility, innovation, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each shift.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity, verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or packages.

Support healthcare operations by assisting with de-escalation, following post orders for sensitive or restricted areas, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
