Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated High School HR IT Intern to support the Human Resources Information Technology (HR IT / HRIS) team with administrative and technical tasks while gaining exposure to HR systems, data, and business processes. This role provides hands-on experience at the intersection of human resources and information technology, under the guidance of experienced HRIT professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with basic support tasks related to HR systems (e.g., data validation, documentation, and user support requests)

Help maintain and organize HR system documentation and process materials

Support testing activities for system updates or enhancements

Assist with data entry, reporting support, or audit preparation as assigned

Adhere to data privacy, confidentiality, and security requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Basic understanding of computers, applications, and technology concepts

Strong attention to detail when working with data or documentation

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Organization and time management skills

Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions when unsure

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly

Willingness to learn, follow processes, and work collaboratively

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in high school (junior or senior preferred)

Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher

No prior IT or HR experience required

Coursework or school projects related to technology, business, or information systems is a plus

Interest in technology, or business systems preferred

Working Conditions

Office Work Environment 51-75%
