Summary You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the TEAM SUB ACIO of PEO UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS. Responsibilities You will direct and manage Information Technology (IT) projects that protect hardware, software, and networks from cyber threats. You will evaluate threats that could potentially breach the network. You will develop policies and procedures to ensure the reliability and accessibility of information systems and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data for all submarine tactical networks. You will develop and maintain cybersecurity plans, strategies, and policies to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance. You will provide network services for the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, maintenance and enhancement of networked systems used for transmission of information in various formats. You will manage risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems aboard submarines to identify vulnerabilities, risk and protection needs. You will lead a team of multi-disciplined personnel, including systems engineering, operational analysis, systems analysis, and network hardware/software design and configuration management to develop systems, Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the evaluation and execution of cybersecurity programs and projects to mitigate system vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Education Additional Information The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-14/15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $191,850. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
